Thaw the puff pastry sheet as per package instructions.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Saute cumin seeds and chopped onions in oil.

Add chopped tomatoes, spices and tomato ketchup, and saute.

Add diced paneer and saute for a minute. Filling is ready.

Cut squares out of thawed pastry sheet. Add filling in the center and brush sides with egg wash.

Fold into triangle, add design with fork.

Repeat for all pastry squares, place on baking sheet and apply egg wash on top. Bake in preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
