  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/4 cup Yogurt

  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Add oil, jaggery powder, yogurt, milk and vanilla extract to a bowl. Whisk till all the wet ingredients are completely blended.
  • Add whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt to the wet mixture. Slowly mix all the ingredients for around 10 seconds (don't mix completely yet).
  • Add semi-sweet chocolate chips to the mixture. Using a spatula, mix again slowly to form a uniform blend. DO NOT over-mix.
  • Grease and dust the muffin pan. Preheat oven to 350 degree F (or 180 degree Celsius). Pour mixture into muffin cups. Bake the muffins in preheated oven for 30 minutes or till done.
  • The Eggless Chocolate Muffins are ready to be served warm, or these can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week!

  • Jaggery Powder – If Jaggery Powder is not available, you can replace it with equal amount of Organic Coconut Sugar. These are the healthier sugar alternatives.
  • Do not over-mix the batter after adding dry ingredients.
